The Ministry of Basic and teaching in Delta has disclosed that it's not free any new educational calendar for the 2020/2021 session. This was disclosed by the Commissioner, Mr patron saint Ukah, in an exceedingly statement on Fri in Asaba.
Ukah suggested folks and guardians to disregard the 2020/2021 educational calendar current within the social media speculated to have emanated from the ministry.
According to him, the ministry had not taken a choice on the 2020/2021 educational calendar and once a judgment was taken on the matter, a politician statement from the ministry would be created public.
The commissioner aforementioned that supported its programme on phased reopening of colleges, starting with certificate categories, solely JSS three students were expected to resume college on Sept. 8, 2020 so as to organize for the essential Education Certificate Examination (BECE) unionised by the Ministry of Basic and teaching scheduled to start on Monday, Sept. 21, 2020.
