49 Nigerians awarded Chevening Scholarship

The UK Government has disclosed that forty nine Nigerians are awarded scholarships to check in London through its Chevening scholarship programme. The Chevening programme officer in Federal Republic of Nigeria, Opeyemi Ojo, created this glorious throughout the pre-departure event control for 2020/2021 session Chevening students at King Fisher Club, Ikoyi, Lagos. 

It was gathered that out of the forty nine students, there have been twenty three females and twenty six males, together with 3 physically challenged.

According to Ojo, over 6000 Nigerian applied and forty nine students were elite supported their leadership, networking policies and intention to check within the Britain, among others.

The Chevening could be a Britain Government’s world scholarship programme, funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development workplace (FCDO) and partner organisations. The scholarships support study at Britain universities, largely one year schooled master’s degree for people with demonstrable potential to become future leaders, decision-makers and opinion formers.
